How we choose topics
We start with questions people actually have about health, everyday habits and wellness products. An affiliate partnership may bring a product to our attention, but it does not buy a favorable verdict.
Where we get information
The right source depends on the story. We may use government health resources, peer-reviewed research, professional organizations, current product labels and a brand’s own materials. When a statement comes from the manufacturer, we say so.
What we check before publishing
Before an article goes live, we check the facts, sources, wording and important context. We also look for marketing claims that need clearer attribution or language that sounds more certain than the evidence supports.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. We may also update an article when a label changes, new information becomes available or an older section needs more context. Relevant publish and update dates appear on the article.
How affiliate links fit in
WellVerdict may earn a commission from some links, but payment does not guarantee a positive review, recommendation or ranking. We place a clear disclosure wherever an affiliate relationship applies.
Dates and bylines
Articles carry the WellVerdict Editorial Team byline when they are prepared under our shared editorial process. If a named contributor or qualified reviewer works on an article, we’ll show their name, credentials and role.
